Brittney Burke, Therapist, MS, LPC-A, NCC, ADC, CCTP, CPhT
Guiding, helping, and working with people to help them grow and make changes is the path that Brittney chose to focus for her career. Brittney believes that God, placed her in the field of counseling, to provide a guidance, offer tools for others, and teach others, after she changed majors while completing her undergraduate degree, so that she could eventually go into counseling. Brittney has over 14 years experience in the pharmacy and 5 years teaching pharmacy, so she understands the medication side that may accompany therapy. Brittney graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelors in Psychology, then took time off before returning to school. Brittney graduated with her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling along with receiving graduate certificate in counseling addictive behaviors as a specialty. Brittney has previously worked as an addiction counselor, in which she was able to combine mental health, addiction, and medication all into one. Focusing on co-occurring disorders and help individuals find ways to cope one of Brittney’s specialties.
