M. Jerdone Davis
Education: ADSN, Kennesaw State College; ThB, Trinity College; MAEM, Erskine Theological Seminary; EdD, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary
After retiring from the seminary faculty in 2014, Dr. Davis continues to enjoy being part of the seminary by editing for the professors and for DMIN students as needed.
She also returned to her original profession of nursing as an adjunct instructor for the Nurse Refresher program and other “quick medical jobs” courses at Greenville Technical College.
Dr. Davis believes that God calls an individual to varieties of ministerial works and that the Bible encourages us to continue onward in those callings. In other words, there is no retirement. She is also one of the women’s Bible teachers at Clemson Presbyterian Church.
Her favorite quotations are:
“Cultivating quiet and a practiced attunement becomes the time when we move from the agitated periphery of our lives, identifying with our lives without qualification or added information to simply a silent, interior space.” Alan Jones
“But the Lord is in his holy temple. Let all the earth be silent before Him.” Habakkuk 2:20
