Rev. Matthew Miller (ThM; DMin; and PhD candidate, University of Bristol ) was appointed as the Associate Professor of Pastoral and Historical Theology and Director of the ThM program in 2022. He has more than a dozen years of pastoral ministry experience serving ARP and PCA congregations, including nine years as the senior pastor serving the 500-member congregation of the Greenville ARP Church. His current doctoral research focuses on the doctrine of good works in Francis Turretin’s successor in Geneva, Bénédict Pictet (1655-1724). In addition to translating two works by Reformed theologian Pierre Courthial from French into English – A New Day of Small Beginnings (2018) and The Bible: The Sacred Text of the Covenant (2023) –  Rev. Miller has published numerous articles in TableTalk Magazine, Reformed Faith & PracticeReformation21, and other publications. He also serves as the City Director for the C. S. Lewis Institute in Greenville, where he regularly lectures on the works of C. S. Lewis and major themes in his writings.
