Dr. Tom Hawkes (Ph.D., London School of Theology/Middlesex U) is a minister in the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church where he serves as the Director of Church Planting for the Florida Presbytery and as the planting pastor for Christ Presbyterian Church, Fernandina Beach, Florida, where he and his wife, Ann, live. Tom and Ann have four married sons and six grandchildren. Tom and Ann share a passion for helping to raise up the next generation of leaders for the next generation of churches.
Formerly, Tom has served as the founding pastor for 25 years at a PCA plant in Charlotte, the founding Director of the RTS-Charlotte Center for Church Planting, the Director of the international Arrow Leadership Program, the Associate Coordinator of Church Planting for Mission to North America, and as the Associate Director of Program for Billy Graham’s Amsterdam ’86. He also holds degrees from Gordon College, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and the Free University of Amsterdam. His latest book is Sanctification: A User’s Guide to Becoming More Like Jesus. (Wipf&Stock 2020). He is currently working on a book entitled Reformed Church Planting.
