Rev. Dr. Jonatan Simons serves as Associate Professor of Systematic Theology and Director of the M.Div. Program. An ordained minister in the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church (ARPC), he previously served as a missionary professor at Fundación Universitaria Seminario Bíblico de Columbia [Biblical Seminary of Columbia] in Medellín and as Associate Pastor of Clover ARP Church in South Carolina.
Simons is the Author of Divine Simplicity in the Theology of Irenaeus (Brill) and had published peer-reviewed articles in Studia Patristica, Journal of Early Christians Studies, Reformed Faith and Practice, and Unio Cum Christo.
He and his family enjoy outdoor activities, including hiking, gardening, basketball, and soccer. Simons especially loves Colombian coffee.
