Write Here Center

Students who understand how to express their thoughts and ideas through writing experience more academic success, earn better grades, and have improved opportunities to gain more insight from their courses. The Write Here Center at Erskine College assists both college and seminary students with a variety of writing services. The skilled student readers in the Write Here Center will read your drafts and help you improve any of the following areas: focus, purpose, organization, development, critical response, voice, diction, syntax, documentation, and mechanics. Stop by our conveniently located Watkins Student Center location and take advantage of this valuable service. Better writing does equal better grades. Let us help!

Erskine Seminary students who take courses virtually may submit papers to the Write Here Center using the following email address: whc@erskine.edu. Papers will be read in the order that they are received, and a usual turn-around time is 24-36 hours (depending on what time of day you submit the paper). Papers submitted over a weekend will likely not be read until Monday.

Alessio will check emails throughout the week until the last day of classes before final exams and will follow the college calendar. The Write Here Center does not read dissertations or longer program papers, as the needs of graduate writers require them to seek more content- and program-specific proofreading assistance. The Write Here Center will, though, provide general proofreading services for regular course papers/assignments. The turnaround time is usually 24-36 hours.
