Rev. Brett Blackman (Th.M. & M.Div., Erskine Theological Seminary) is an ordained minister in the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, having served his current congregation for more than ten years. He is a PhD candidate in Systematic Theology at the Free University of Amsterdam. Brett has lectured on Herman Bavinck and has presented papers at the annual conferences of the European Academy of Religion. Through his teaching and writing, he takes joy in highlighting how Christianity is distinctly suited to address the spiritual, cultural, and philosophical questions of each generation. He and his wife, Mary Beth, have three daughters. Brett enjoys reading, writing, drawing with his children, and engaging in good conversation.
