Background
Crystal has felt a calling upon her life to minister through song since childhood.  She was born and raised in South Carolina and began developing her musical talents at an early age.  Crystal graduated from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC with a degree in Business Education. After graduating from college she married her late husband, Terence, and the union was blessed with three daughters.  Over the years Crystal has been singing in choirs, serving as choir director, and as a musician in several churches.

Today Crystal is a member of Bethel AME Church in Columbia, SC where she is a committed member of the praise and worship team and mass choir, serves as director of the youth choir, and is a local commissioner for the Columbia Conference Debs and Masters Ceremony.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, learning new things, and singing with her father, siblings, and daughters in their group called “Pie and the Gospel Slices”.  Crystal also enjoys singing with a few ladies in her church in a group called “Divine Purpose”.

Crystal has been given opportunities to provide praise and worship for events such as the Breaking Down Walls Racial Reconciliation Conference at Arsenal Hill Presbyterian Church.  She has shared the stage with major gospel artists such as CeCe Winans, Tamela Mann, and Dottie Peeples while singing background vocals for Rev. Carolyn Brailsford, who currently serves as Supervisor of the 20th AME Episcopal District.  Crystal has also sang in Christmas play productions and other plays including Walter Rutledge’s “Soulful Noel” with Jennifer Holiday.

She is an upcoming gospel artist with a new hit single called “Judgement Day”, which was released on Wednesday, August 15, 2018.  The song is currently available on all major online outlets for download including Apple Music, Amazon, iTunes, Google Music Store, Pandora, and Spotify.  “Judgement Day” has been streamed over 99,000 times in over 60 countries.

God has given Crystal an amazing opportunity to minister in a way that touches people on many levels.  As a widow she has used the healing power of music as her medication through difficult times and to build her relationship with God. She wants to inspire others to do the same.
