Dr. Chris Barney holds a Ph.D. in New Testament Interpretation from Bob Jones University (Greenville, SC). As a professor there, he taught Greek, New Testament courses, and expository preaching. In addition to his teaching ministry at Bob Jones University, Dr. Barney served various other agencies in leadership roles, including seminary dean, pastor, and head of school.

Chris’ hobbies include cycling, soccer, following college football, and, of course, reading. He lives in Greer, SC, with his wife, Kristi, and their five children; Chris and his family are members of Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church in Greenville.
