Jim Belcher (Ph.D., Georgetown University) is ordained in the PCA, and was the founding and lead pastor for Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach, CA for ten years. He served as a seminary professor and director of the Doctor of Ministry program at Knox Theological Seminary in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Professor and President at Providence Christian College in Pasadena, CA. He is the author of three books, Cold Civil WarIn Search of Deep Faith, and Deep Church, which won a 2010 Christianity Today Book Award in church/pastoral leadership. Jim and his wife Michelle have four adult children and live in Greenville.
