Profile

Brianne Holmes is the director of marketing and communications at Erskine. She grew up in Columbia, South Carolina, and graduated from Anderson University with a B.A. in Communications. She later attended East Carolina University where she earned an M.A. in English with a concentration in creative writing. 

Professional Experience

While studying at ECU, Holmes taught freshman and sophomore writing classes and served as an editorial assistant for the North Carolina Literary Review. After completing her M.A., she taught middle and high school English in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. She began working at Erskine in July 2019. 

Personal Interests

In her spare time, Holmes enjoys baking, hiking, reading, writing, and drinking hot beverages, especially coffee and peppermint tea.
