F. Richard (Dick) Williams, Jr. (D.Ed.Min., M.Div., Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) was ordained in the Southern Baptist Convention by North Side Baptist Church (Greenwood, SC) in 2014, serving there as Discipleship Pastor through 2017. Since January of 2018, he has served as Senior Pastor of Green Pond Baptist Church in Woodruff, SC. He has also served as Moderator of the Spartanburg County Baptist Network. His doctoral research in biblical spirituality focused on expository preaching, God’s holiness, and John Calvin’s pastorate in Geneva. Dick entered vocational ministry upon the conclusion of a twenty-nine year career in South Carolina public chools, as a teacher, coach, and principal. He has a passion to teach and mentor others entering into vocational ministry. He and his wife, Danita, reside in Woodruff, SC. They have four adult children and ten grandchildren scattered throughout, Alabama, Indiana, and South Carolina.
